“It is a pleasure to serve my hometown community and to be able to have a career I love is just icing on the cake!”
Dr. Clara Brannan is a native Puyallup Washingtonian. She graduated from Franklin Pierce High School and went onto Bates Technical College to gain her dental assisting license. While working as a dental assistant she was encouraged to pursue a career as a dentist so she went back to school.
Dr. Brannan did her undergrad studies at the University of Washington before being accepted into Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Brannan came back to Washington and worked as a general dentist until she discovered her love of treating children. She did her residency in Cleveland at CWRU Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital while raising 2 (of her now 3) children, working part time and a husband also pursuing a career in dental school.
Following her residency, Dr. Brannan came home and worked a short time at South Hill Children’s Dentistry before buying the practice from the retiring dentist.
Dr. Brannan loves her coffee and spending time with her family. She loves camping, kayaking and paddle boarding. She loves road trips and reading when she finds the time!
